A weird side-effect to having problems with your mental-health and an over-active imagination is that you tend to have extremely vivid, life-like dreams. Probably unsurprising, but I tend to only remember the ones that really, really terrified me. Below are a selection of dreams that I have managed to remember for a multitude of years, jotted down and dramatised into a short story. Before you begin to analyse my mental state (good luck), many of these are just the basis for stories, where I’ve had to add or subtract elements to make it coherent, but hopefully they will stay with you for as long as they did with me.
